Got lots of waves in my GT4 this weekend. From pedestrians to motorcyclists and other Porsches.
It's true,I almost never get a wave back from a Cayenne,Macan or Panamera driver.

I wave at all Porsche 2 door sports cars and would say I usually get strange stares back in response, but have gotten a few people waving back. I wish it were higher, but at least I'm doing my part.

I have had 2 awesome conversations at gas stations with fellow 911 owners and they were extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their cars.

I give a small wave off the wheel to other 911s. Where I live, the response rate is 50/50.

so in my experience its 50/50 with any car newer than 993. When in my 911 sc, the only waves i get are other air-cooled cars. funny, b'c my family has two corvettes in it a 1967 coupe and a 2014 stingray. Vette guys wave and beep 100% of the time...

Yep ... I will alway wave to any 911 ... just as I have in my Jeep Wrangler! Sadly not many 911s in Arizona.

my dad had a bmw 2002 we always waved and always got waves back. im way less than 50/50 response in east hampton and i only wave to 911s. i think we all know why that response is lower in the more moneyed areas. less appreciation for what they own.

I wave to all Porsche owners except; Macan, Cayenne, and Panomera. I've tried to wave to Spyder 918 and Carrera GT owners, but I can't catch them.
