My kuda setup arrived yesterday and install was a breeze! Quality and fit and finish are top shelf!

Hi:
See how far back on the console this holder is mounted?
Taking delivery Saturday and have been hung up between getting the Kuda or ProClip. I like the looks of the Kuda but wondered if the location is a touch far back on the console for quick viewing. The ProClip can be mounted further forward on the console.
Will this difference be noticeable while driving?
Maybe this is why I saw 1 member used the ProClip mount with a powered Kuda base??
Maybe I should order both and return 1?
Thx!

That was me. And yes, the Pro Clip base sits further forward and is much smaller than the Kuda base (and for me, both things mattered). But the Kuda mount is smaller than the ProClip's. That's why I mixed and matched. btw, you purchase the base and the mount separately from each vendor, so you don't have to double-up on your purchase.

Hi Hinkley;
I like your approach. Were there any issues affixing the Kuda holder on the ProClip base?
It looks pretty easy to order each part separately.
Thanks!

The holes don't line up exactly, so I just used a strong double sided adhesive. It's held without a problem. btw, I chose the Kuda articulated powered base (sku iba-33452). It's easy to run the cable (totally unseen) to the socket in the passenger footwell (you'll need to buy a USB 12V plug) and the articulated base is nice to tilt the phone toward you.
