PoL always gives Porsche loaner. Wouldn't touch new country with a ten foot pole.

Really? I am on my 4th P-car being serviced by Champion (only 2 bought there) and have had nothing but good experiences. Have always gotten Porsche loaners.

I got a Cayenne loaner.

When I saw the gas gauge needle was all the way to the right, I thought they gave me a loaner with an empty tank of gas. I started desperately looking for a nearby gas station. Then I realized the gauge goes in the opposite direction than my 911 and it was actually full. It's funny how all the gauges are exactly the same except the gas gauge.

Porsche of Fresno gave me a Cayenne V-6 Diesel as a loaner for the day while my 2015 Carrera S was getting its first oil change in September. The V-6 diesel was quite peppy . . . accelerating like a scalded cat! Drove it up to Millerton Lake to see if there was any water left for a ski boat. Pulled the hills great.
Of course now I know why the diesel was so powerful!

My wife was pushing hard for a diesel cayenne recently. I suggested we hold off a bit and see how the vag diesel thing panned out... Dodged a bullet there, i think.

I had a Panamera that was having an engine replaced and I got a new Cayenne for 2 mos. and put 4k miles on it. I did not buy the car from the dealer. I then traded the Panamera on a 2013 911S at the same dealer last month. Yesterday the box with the pen came in from Porsche and it had my CPO expiring a year sooner than it should. Today I took it to the same dealer so they could inspect it again (per Porsche NA) to get my warranty correct and they gave me a brand new 911 Black Edition to drive, a 2016 with 170 miles, and I have to admit that I did not abide by any break-in procedures The good thing is that I was able to see the vast difference in power between the two cars and they were optioned almost identically. The 3.4 engine is nowhere near as powerful and the sport exhaust was much quieter as well. My car has about 39k miles on it and the new car shifted smoother but the power and handling left quite a bit to be desired on the base 911. I am very happy with the S.

Tysons used to give me that C300 (from Enterprise) but this past year they gave me a new Ceyanne Diesel and a new Boxster S as loaners. So I think they have upped their game...

I did not buy my 991S from them, either...

Interesting. Maybe I'll see if they can give me a Porsche next time. A boxster would be an infinite improvement on that terrible C300.
