I tend to wave only to female Porsche drivers, but not to Cayenne or Macan drivers. That is, I wave to female 911, Boxster, Cayman, and Panamera drivers.

I do wave but I would like to change my criteria to match Lex's. The circumcised requirement is a bit difficult to distinguish when passing above 30 mph.

I come from the school of waves; owned motorcycles, vettes and jeeps. These are all hard core 'save the wave' guys.

I always continue that tradition in my p-car. Most wave back. If not, doesn't stop me from saving the wave!

Here in the Northeast, I tend to wave to drivers of sports cars and others reflecting some pride of ownership (classic muscle cars and convertibles, for example). Trying to spread the love and acknowledge someone's passion. Most wave back, including just about all Porsche sports car drivers and lots of Vette owners.
