Heated Garage Question
So--after an almost 20 year wait, I'm back in a 911 (2016 C4 Black Edition). Loving, loving, loving the car. I've had it about a week. It is garaged and I have been driving it daily since I picked it up (one week ago tomorrow). My garage is tiny and the heating plant is about 3 feet away from the car. The garage is SUPER WARM I estimate 80+ degrees fahrenheit. So much so, that in the morning, when I drive off to work the car interior is warm enough that I open up a window or the sunroof.
Can this warm to hot garage create any issues for my car? Any thoughts or am I just being overly paranoid?

80+ degrees, are you living in there?
Turn that thing down. 50-60 degrees tops.

So the heat from the boiler room is dissipating into the garage and you feel it may be an issue with overhearing the vehicle. I don't think it should be a problem unless the temperature goes will beyond 80 deg. I would actually appreciate a warm car in the mourning. You my want to do a little insulating though. All of that heat escaping into unfinished areas will surely cost you a good clip.

Wish I could but I can't control the temperature in the garage--the thermostats are in the house and the boiler is cranking most of the night-- the heat is coming from the boiler on the left...

What is the temperature outside? If you are going to 80+ to below freezing in that instant from pulling out of the garage that may have some effect. I'm not sure what though, but I can't imagine that is a normal environment for a car to be operating in. Most temperature extremes cars are exposed to are gradual.
Can you crack the garage door a little to bring the temp down to the 50's?

Do you live in an area where it is cold enough for the roads department to use salt to melt ice and snow? If yes, salt and a heated garage, not a good combination.
