Default Blizzard 2016

I live in the metro DC area and just wanted to commend the 2016 991 C4 for its superb all wheel drive system. This is my 4th 911 and 5th porsche. It is also my first C4. After struggling with my boxster and some wonky tire chain like devises, my 997 C2 with All weather tires, a 991 C2 with All weather tires, I ponied up some extra cash for Snow tires on my 20's this time around. Now, understandably when the snow was over the hood of the car, there was no hope, but on the partially cleared and icy/slushy stuff that has been covering the roads this week...wow. The car has out performed my wife's Audi S4 with snows, as well as the family trickster Acadia Denali. The car had unreal grip and great stopping ability even on really poorly treated roads. And, I am not joy riding, but rather as a physician, relying on the car for day to day work. I have driven a C2 with snows and it was "good" but the C4 is far beyond. Won't think of any thing else from now on as my daily driver

The C4 is definitely a great snow roamer. We have a client living on a steep hill in Washington that was "shuttling" his neighbors up and down the hill in his 911 when we got hit a few weeks back. Funny to see a Porsche traversing the snow better than the 4WD SUV's.
