Very nice write up. Congrats on your delivery. I have been to the PEC 3 times and it is a terrific facility.

Interesting that your car is arriving in Jacksonville. Last I knew, they were using the port in Brunswick, GA. I new that the VW/Audi contract had moved to the Port of Jacksonville recently, but assumed since no mention was made about the Porsches, that PCNA kept delivery in their "home" state.

I have been considering delivery at the PECATL since they began that service. However, since I LIVE in Jacksonville, it seems unnecessary to have it trucked 400 miles to Atlanta, and then drive it back those 400 miles. Porsche Jacksonville can just receive it from the port, 6 miles away. Yes, I know you miss out on the driving experience, but you can fix that by taking one of the 2 hour driving courses there. Instead of flying up, you can drive your new Porsche (or your 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe - and save the miles).

But, honestly, I STRONGLY recommend anyone who can or wants, to take delivery at the PEC if you can't or don't want to do Stuttgart delivery.
Ray Shafer at the PECATL is a REALLY COOL GUY! (See you in October, Ray!).

sounds like a great time! I live in Atlanta, and love this option, because that means I can buy from whatever dealer in the entire country will give me the best deal, and then pick it up when I get off work! (Airline pilot based at the airport)
