... yes the muted look is a good description from you thank you I configured even the interior in black and added the leather package option to keep it dark. the wheels are in black satin, all really muted.... but as said, I never saw this in nature.... which makes me feeling a bit unsure, but just a bit... however main focus is on the new engine anyway....

My base is exactly like that..... page 5 for pictures. Matte black accents (including exhaust tips) on GB with a black leather/carbon interior. Former head of interior design at Tesla is my neighbor two doors down and he loves the combo, I figure he knows a thing or two about design and color combos so I take it as quite a compliment. I love the way it looks, I couldn't be happier.

Racemor, I ended up following your lead on the platinum satin wheels, you answered some of my wheel questions back during my ordering process. We are very happy with the overall look. Here is a picture our detailer took last week, too bad it's pollen season so it's clean for an hour.

The above 911 color is Slate Grey #6401 (straight from the 356 list) and after that #6601. Not a blue. Many 356's in this color as well. Sometimes graphite blue has the appearance, depending on the light, as Slate Grey, and other times it starts to gravitate towards Aetna Blue, which is a real blue, but under the right light gets really dark, like this:
Very interesting colors, both Aetna Blue and Graphite blue.

Very interesting, thank you for sharing! Graphite Blue does tend to wash out and look almost gray in shade or low light. I will look up the colors your mentioned on my next visit to the museum.

you can try calling automotivetouchup.com because they sell this color in a spray can. On their website they listed 3 codes.
