Default Ventilated Seats

Hey All!

Quick question for those with the package that includes ventilated seats.

Coming off an S550 with cooling seats - needless to say, they are disappointingly weak. I quite honestly don't feel any "cooling" or ventilation.

We have a 2016 Range Rover LWB Supercharged with the cooling seats, and they absolutely give the desired results.

I once rented a Chevy Suburban for a few days and seriously, It was like sitting on an ice pack (I LOVED THAT).

What are your opinions on the Porsche ventilated/cooling seats on the 911?

Thanks in advance.

My delivery is estimated at the end of September.

My seats in my car are fantastic! You can absolutely feel the ventilation, almost to the point that on the highest setting you have to turn them down to the middle or low setting.

We have them in our 2015 4Runner Limited and, while you can feel it, I would describe them as disappointing at times.

THANKS!

This makes me even more excited. It's so unfortunate to turn on the ventilated seats in my car and know that it won't do a darn thing.

On the east coast we've had probably 3 weeks of unbearable heat. The cooling seats would have been so appreciated.

Kind of weak but much better than no ventilation. Pretty much identical to Audi. The colder the interior temp of your car, the colder the seat ventilation will be. It circulates cabin air. Cooled seats would be better.

I have 'em. I like 'em. In a cabriolet, makes my top down summer driving much more comfortable. I'd get 'em again. FYI, they suck, they don't blow.

With practice... one can improve. Oh you mean the seat fans. Noted.

Well, if they have the desired result, I'm going to be happy.

This wait is killing me. (I am sure everyone knows the feeling!)

Ventilated seats on my GTS works very well, 18-way seats. The ones I had on the M5 were noisy and weak, these are quiet and works...

I've ordered the 14 way but understand from the dealership that the heating and ventilation mechanisms are the same.

Glad to hear another member is happy.

Only heated seats here, but I don't regret Alcantara seats over leather. Btw, those few weeks of high temps and humidity, I did not feel the inside cabin got too unbearable, especially if the A/C is turned up.

The other day, I had Alexandra Daddario in the car. She said the seats were making her tingly! I told her that's becuase she never wears panties.

True story.

Agreed, 18 way seats, venting for cooling works fine, second setting is too cool for me. Admittedly, my area doesn't get very hot.

I have a '14 cabriolet and the seat ventilation is weak but better than nothing. However, I don't turn my a/c temp very low, usually no lower than 73 degrees.

You're the man, Lex. Ladies love ventilated seats. Their efficacy depends on how heavy your clothing is. Less is better.

The missus and I keep threatening to find a lonely back road to go joy riding in the nude some steamy Texas summer night to test the ventilated seats out.

Absolutely fantastic in my 2011 Cayman. Never had a 'wet back' in the Texas summer, even when getting in to the car while parked outside in the sun in the heat of the day while drinking coffee.

**Highly** recommended.
