No apologies needed.... It's not like you get a pre-warning that they will fail. It happens when go to work on something and you just don't happen to have a replacement handy,. The attitudes of some are amazing...obviously, they don't DIY to their Porsches!

Just had mine replaced under warranty, after four years and 15.5k miles.

Mine failed for the second time. The first set was replaced under warranty. I think I'm going with the brake hose cut lengthwise solution, at least for now. If I replace them again, they'll likely fail (again) by the time of the next oil change, so if I change them (again), I'll do that closer to oil change time.

well he had a beer in 1 hand and the strut in the other hand,,didnt do to bad really

Once out of warranty use FCP Euro - pay once. (lifetime warranty)
