The new Turbo will hit 0-60 in low twos’s, Carrera S have consistently hit 0-60 in low 3‘s. With the wide suspension stance and staggered wheels it is a great track performer as well. So we can only surmise that the new GT cars will improve in every category and destroy lap times so everyone will want one........
recipe: take awesome base cars, add doo-hickey's, let it rip.

992GT3 RS is not far behind. Not fully baked. But v-e-r-y close.

Like groundhog said, 3-6 months. Max.
Prior to covid arriving on the seen my UK dealer said my GT3 should be delivered by the end of the year. This would mean the release was slated for the summer. I assume this is now Q2 2021.

I will consider the 765 when it is 50% off msrp for a car with 1k to 2k miles, which should be 6 to 12 months from release hahaha.

McLaren screw their customers so bad on reliability and depreciation, I think anyone that wants an LT will get one, likely at or below list once the initial hype does down. Too many people have been burned and loyalty to the brand is dying a painful death.

Guess you haven't seen the $20-$30k ADM's on the new Corvettes.

The 992 GT3 is done, as has been said. They showed us pics of the car and had very candid convos about it late last year during the Taycan launch event in spain. Figure this- Porsche test and test and test and test their cars- that is why they are so good when they get in your hands.

It takes time to develop cars, and porsche likely will not cut corners or deliver a car that is not sorted (unlike some other manufacturers) because the reputation of bulletproof 911's and more importantly 'track ready' GT cars is so established...it would be a multi-billion dollar gamble.

So- that being said- the real question is 'what is the world appetite?'

We all clamor over the GT3/GT3RS. it's coming. but we don't even have GT4's on the ground yet in USA for sale...and that was revealed a long way back. So- typical cadence is that we have to wait about 9 months from Reveal of GT model to Showroom (or later in states like California that have CARB restrictions)

So- lets examine the 992 Turbo S reveal (March/ Geneva timeline) - that car will be on the ground at stores around October/November barring any further delays. Figure that GT3 would be a 2021 Geneva reveal?
And how well where the GT3 engines that shut down the factory???

I’d shocked if that happened. Production will be pushed back on a wait and see. Mho

I think that would have made sense. Now, who knows? They could have switched to Paris, but that's been cancelled too.

The factory will be opening soon. I think Porsche might just do an internet reveal of the GT3 when the time is right. Maybe toward the end of summer, with spring deliveries in Europe and summer/fall in NA?

My money is on fall internet reveal after L.A. auto show. Geneva 2021 in person. Euro deliveries starting around same time. US deliveries summer 2021 and Canada late summer early fall for deliveries.

Dreamers will keep dreaming, but time is not on their side...the longer they wait to sell the lower price they'll get.

Are you serious? People are stupid enough to pay $20k-$30k ADMs today on vettes that they'll pump out like their going out of style? Man, old habits die hard. haha

Yup, I think they reveal it at Geneva 2021 and they arrive in the US in the fall of 2021. Question is when will they release the GT4RS???

Good question. Hard to guess. I feel like the run of the mill 992s haven't gotten a proper welcome into the market, 718 4.0 just launched, and GT4/Spyder are late to land...all these impacted by COVID and EPA/CARB. GT4RS won't hit same time as GT3, so not fall or Geneva. I'm thinking this summer, Goodwood timing like last years Goodwood Porsche appearances. So either usual Goodwood dates without the Festival of Speed or the potential September postponed dates. GT3 will be November or so for internet launch. So it'll all work.

That looks turbocharged, yes?

Could be the rumored lightweight version of the Turbo...
