Or it is an engineering thing where it is easier to see each revolution of the wheel (either in real life or on video) if you have a reference point.

Look at the latest spy pictures of the 992 ”Safari”. It seems to have similarily painted spokes.

Assuming diameters are supposed to be identical, this is visual signal to see if wheels rotating at same speeds....if uneven, the colored spokes would noticably rotate at different speeds at a way the human eye can process.

This little unpainted section under the fog light bothers me.

That does look weird - reminds me of the overlapping parking lights on the 991.1

Looks like they took a lot from the Taycan on the front bumper areas

I have been staring quite a bit. The first PTS in green is going to be an outstanding meme.

IDK. Maybe my eyes need to adjust. I just went out to the garage and put the 991 on charge. This “upgrade” is going to be tough to swallow.

If it looks like a frog then it still looks like a 911.

Doesn’t bother me at all; it helps with the transition (including the fog light# surround) to the lower fascia, all in plastic

For me the biggest issue I have with the front end is the way the painted fascia turns back in, forming a point then the matt plastic area sticks out forming a second point. I'm sure it will be for cooling or reducing drag or whatever else BUT it just doesn't sit right with me.

Would have preferred if the painted bar dropped vertically with the matt black plastic more inset (similar to the RSR) as opposed to jutting out as it does... Just my 2 cents...

For those worries about too much plastic on the front, this touring prototype looks like it’s painted. So no worries on that. Hood looks spot on compared to the video.

worry not! You'll be able to paint the entire front via the "painted package" for $3500 extra
