The title says it all.
It is interesting to see the answer specifically from 991.2 GT3 owners and their logic behind.

nope. not enough improvement for street usage. same engine, same weight, uglier looks. I am a fan of the guage cluster and rear lightbar though.
If i didn't currently have a gt3 i'd wait for the 992 touring. I think without the wing and weird front bumper / hood vents it would look pretty good.

I have the 991.2 manual. I priced out the 992 today on the UK Configurator and converted the £'s but not sure how much the included VAT was.
The 992 is substantially more for the few extra HP and wishbone front suspension. Think its a pass until the 992.2 becomes a reality.

Not at the moment. Personally I don’t consider it a beautiful car inside or out. Not a fan of the nose drills in front, overbite at the back, digital gauge cluster and the shiny plastic touch controls. But you never know, may grow on me later when I see the real thing.
I appreciate certain design elements of cars I purchase and keep for a long time. I love the gauge cluster on the 991 and the tail lights. so much so that I am considering getting a GT4 for daily driving.

The difference between 991.2 and 992 GT3 base is around €20K (VAT inclusive). So 992 will be definitely at least €15K more expensive if equally specced.

2018 991.2 GT3 6MT owner: surprised they didn’t talk at all about the manual transmission option. No doubt the price will be much higher and for not that much incremental improvement. 10 hp? Fish mouth front? Nope. I like the rear diffuser, and some of the more
minor improvements. Configurability of gauge cluster is excellent. Rear lights okay but 991.2 light blades look better. I sure hope they ironed out the bugs in the lightweight glass...wouldn’t want more stress cracks like the GT3RS rear window. Lightweight battery that will be undoubtedly be finicky and troublesome and expensive? 60 AH??? No thanks. Please for God’s sake listen to customers and add a damn oil dipstick. Even as an option, I would pay $500 for it.
I’ll keep my 991.2 GT3 6MT.

Particulate filter makes it sound ‘mature’ in AP’s own words from before (Chris Harris TG reveal) and IMHO not as good as 991.2 GT3.

No, actually the .2 GT 3 will likely be my last GT car or porsche. Not because I don't like the car (so far still prefer the clean lines of the .2 GT3), but frustrated and sick of ADM/dealer tricks. Been there, done that, and yes
I was involved in the scandal from Champion that left a sour taste in my mouth.

My 991.2 Touring is only 10,000 miles into its 200,000+ mile journey, so no GT3 upgrades in the foreseeable future for me. Like others, I do not want to have to deal with the wait list, the ADM, and I have spent more than enough of my free time on the configurator and watching my car cross the Atlantic and through the Panama Canal on a ship. Been there, done that.

I like it and certainly will like it even more when I see it in person and hopefully drive it. Was offered an allocation at MSRP but no interest to buy it. I am more than happy with my 991.2 MT GT3.
I have been slowly working on it over the years and enjoying each mod stepwise at the track. Now I really have an incredible car that I absolutely love to drive. Plan to never get rid of it as I cant imagine ever getting tired of the experience. Really enjoy the manual and plan to eventually add an RS. If the 992.1 is a major leap from 991.2, will go for it. But likely will wait until 992.2. Really in no rush at all.
