Default 992 GT3 frunk and other dimensions

We've all spent time dissecting the performance parameters of the new 992 GT3, so I thought I would bring up some less critical questions.

1- Is the 992 GT3 frunk the same size as the 991 GT3? I thought the new double wishbone front suspension takes up more room?

The UK site shows the front trunk capacity for the 992 GT3 at 132 liters, which is the same as the series 992s, so I don’t think there’s any room lost due to the double front wishbone.

From the 991.2 GT3 and GT3RS brochures, it appears that front trunk capacity is 125 liters, so the 992 has a bit more space.

Suprisingly, the GT4 front trunk capacity is at 150 liters...go figure.

While it might be a similar size, it won't be the same dimensions, because Porsche will want to sell all new owners a frunk liner for $160.

I guess the key question is whether or not it will still fit a standard rollerboard overhead suitcase for weekend trips?

I do a number of 3 day weekend trips with my 991.2 GT3 and that amount of space was critical as it was for doing ED.

I think they went to great lengths to ensure no storage space was lost. The spy shots of the RS, however, make it look like it’ll be lucky to have any front storage space at all (huge air ducts) though.

Trakcar and I will have that sorted with our soft bag storage solutions behind the back seats

Hope you're well Grant!

The 992 GT3 also has a wider front track, doesn't it?
