Track experience after ED pickup

Track experience after ED pickup
Does anyone recall a pretty long thread in the last year about going to different tracks in Europe after picking up a GT3 in Stuttgart? I couldn't find it and am looking for contact information and ideas for a trip starting in late September. Thanks.

^ I was going to suggest that one too, but it is an extreme example because Trackcar left his car there for a very long time that made booking dates at all the tracks much easier than if you have a normal 2-3 week window Also, lot of people miss out on Nurburgring track days vs. tourist days because they fill up fast- same at Spa. Good luck, if you know the days I would book dates you can now.

Some good events here too (note Euro date format Day/Month):

Highly recommend doing Scuderia Hanseat Or Scuderia S7 events at the Ring. Especially if you never been there. They break up the ring in sections to train you as well as open pit lane on the second day. Both have events in September.

Agree - those are awesome. The S7 is at the very beginning of September though and Hanseat starts on the 27th (not sure if US customers have ED in time for that).

This outfit has a day on 11 October (and Spa 5th October) and I’ve joined them before and had a great time:

Work done on car upon pickup
For those doing ED, what, if any, work are you having done to the car upon pickup?
PPF (partial or full)
Track alignment
Oil changes
Brake fluid flush
Other?
If any, where?

Other tracks like Spa are more taxing on tires and brakes, but in the cool weather of the Fall (it snowed some last visit), I'm not worried about pads/fluid.

Also do you guys follow break in? There’s absolutely no way I’d be at a track in Europe with a brand new car not be shifting at 9k. I’ve never been one to follow break in. But that’s just me.

Also, there is a person in Norway posting info on his new GT3. The car is showing a warning to keep it below 7000 rpm until you reach 1000 miles.
So, not just a US owner’s manual thing.
I am planning on a trip to Austria from Leipzig to do the grossglockner pass, then thru Switzerland and up to the Ring and Spa.
