Car insurance

Erie Insurance has always been super solid. Since the GT3 isn't here yet in the US and there wasn't a vin number to provide them I just had them price out a Turbo S since it's more expensive and was surprised how minor the additional was per year. (I have a clean driving record and no prior accidents full disclosure) (knock on wood)

Who should I go through? Hagerty? Any ideas? I obviously want to do an agreed upon value insurance plan.

I'll be with State Farm. <7,500 miles per year and no work/school commuting.

I don't know what's going on or if you guys have special people to call, but so far I'm two for two insurance companies saying that they do not insure cars at this level of cost. I have zero issues on my driver record, perfect credit etc so I'm really confused but I'm going to keep calling different companies...

You got to tell me how you get them to agree to insure The car, travelers just told me on the phone they don't insure cars greater than $125,000...

Hagerty us telling me ~3000/year. Married, own house, 7500 miles, etc. Geico looks cheaper so far(too cheap imo, $190 for 3 cars per month)...but I need to talk to them more, not sure if they actually understand an agreed upon value plan. Chubb is kind of difficult to deal with, because they require a "local agent" to talk to you, so I had to leave a couple of messages that I'll wait for a return on...

I had them run a previous GT3 and because I thought it seemed surprisingly low that's why I had them run a turbo S. Apparently they don't care about seats or think that 2 rear seats are going to somehow make the car safer or less expensive to replace. They are all classified as high-performance sports cars so not so sure that actually matters for everyone. Seems like a pretty archaic way of classifying risk level in a vehicle personally. It doesn't hurt to call and ask (assuming they provide insurance in the OP's state).
