Guards Red is here

I hope you enjoy your car, but many many GT enthusiasts feel the 992 will age more poorly than the more elegant design of the 991, and the 992 light bar looks ridiculous as it belongs on a Cylon, not a Porsche GT car.

Beautiful car. I just put a build in for a c2s in guards red. For reference I have a long Beach blue m2c and wanted sapphire blue metallic too bad they stopped making it on 991.2.
For radio, my wife's xc90 has no AM. But there are some FM station that have multiple station on one frequency (e.g., 98.5-1 and 98.5-2) and the second on is an AM band. Not sure if the same.
Enjoy! That's what I would get if no kids for back 👍

After owning a couple of 991s I was a slow convert to the light bar but I'm there now. The curves, mini-duck tail and light bar all contribute to a great looking rear end on the 992 GT3.

Thanks!
Thank you. It's a Challenger CL4P9S--4-post, 9000lb-rated lift. I love it.
Sapphire blue really is stunning. Guards red looks great on the 911 though! Thanks for the AM tip. Sure enough, that AM newsradio station I mentioned is also broadcast on the third HD channel of a local FM station.
Yes, it definitely works in person.
Great choice with the neodyme wheels! I was so tempted to try that combo with the Guards red. Looks fantastic!

Question for you, I see you have a Taycan in your profile pic. Is the PCM software on the new GT3 the Taycan version or just the normal 992 version?
Thanks,

OP, beautiful car and congratulations. I have to admit I have never been a guards red fan on any of the 911s after the 993 but the 992 changed my mind. Amazing spec and looking forward to more feedback on the drive!
The irony in this post. You're the biggest broken record of all time, sitting on repeat in this subforum just bashing on the 992. And now you're in someone's delivery thread doing the same thing. Like a child with last year's toy watching other kids get this years toy and you just can't help yourself. Rather than taking the time to bash on the latest gen, go enjoy yours for a change.
Good god motorwerks. I think on the 992 GT forum you have said at least 60 times "the 991 looks dated". We get it, and everyone has a right to their opinion, but you seem to have no more intelligent nuance to your opinions than just repeating that over and over. Maybe you could try to come up with something slightly more well thought out from time to time.
