And so the flipping begins...

RennTorq is pricey for the number of times I am going to use it. It's nice though since you don't need a second person to put their foot on the brake for front wheel removal/install.
I was thinking Precision instruments for 1/5th the cost.

Precision instruments makes a good one. I've had mine for 10 years, no issues (not that I'm constantly using it but it gets use). If you can't have a second person, you can always get any of a number of brake pedal depressors to hold the pedal down. I didn't like to wedge it on the steering wheel (scratch the leather/alcantera) but you can often wedge it on the hard part of the bucket seat and that works too.

Feel sad for the seller and the buyer …

There's no need to be condescending about what others did for their config just because you spent a bit more.

More precisely, Carrara is a town in northwest Tuscany, at the feet of the Apuane mountains, where the marble quarries are where the famous eponymous white marble is extracted.

My spec was 187k and it's exactly what I wanted. I get that this is a flipper, so talk about the guy selling it, the dealer who sold it to him, etc... But this is a gt3. You don't need options.
I don't want 6 grand in leather. I literally don't care. I wanted "sofas" - which are the literal most supportive and sporty seats I've ever sat, as a standard option in a new car. I got pdk, carbon breaks, lava.
If you guys think the standard spec is crap maybe you don't actually like the car? It's not worth 280k to me if I were a buyer, but I bet you some rich guy in the mountains in a $15 million dollar house doesn't care about the markup, and he also didn't care to get into the stupid allocation game. To each their own, you know?
I spent the better part of 6 months constantly talking to my dealer and getting in early, with a small dealer in order to get an allocation. If I were an actual rich guy, I wouldn't give a damn and I'd just buy a pretty one someone else specced.
