Park Assist (sensors) yay/nay?
Noticing a good number of Touring and Winged with parking sensors at rear. All of these models come with backup cam. If you check the box (Park Assist) you get sensors. If you don't, you get cam only, no sensors.
Any particular pro/con on this one?

Also, when I back out of my garage early am - I can't always see if another car is parked way in the back where I back up.
On a 200K+ car, I thought it was a no brainer.
I also have the traffic sign recognition - it gives me guidance on track, which is worth the cost in laughs...

I decided to skip for a cleaner look, but the back side of the car is busy enough that it probably does not matter. Doing it again, I might check the box since I semi-daily the GT3.

I have always found Porsche’s implementation of the sensors with their UI pretty subpar compared to what other German manufacturers do. I have it on my current 992 but opted out on my Touring.

Since there wasn’t an option for sensors on the front of the car; I ended up passing on the rear sensors for a cleaner overall look.

The camera is ****, like most Porsche software/tech. All you can tell is if there is a truck directly behind you.
In this pic, that tall narrow black box is an open single-car garage door. Absolutely useless.

Yeah the camera is really quite poor. I was honestly surprised at how bad it is all things considered.
The ultrasonic parking sensors are still worth it even with the camera since the camera's frustum doesn't show the fullest extent of the bumper. You can't see all the way to the left or right, it's just useful for how close is the back center of the car to the wall. I'm glad I optioned the parking sensors now.

Three Wheelin'
I ordered with sensors. Very practical / low-cost option was a no-brainer for me.

Yes for me too. When I’m parallel parking in front of a busy restaurant the last thing I want to do is hit the car behind me because the back-up camera sucks so much lol
