Oh man! Hands down!

The R35 isn't a super car in the same way a GT3 isn't - they are simply well engineered performance cars.
I’ve always taken the definition of super car as a car with very high performance. There is no constraint on how that is achieved and what materials it’s made from. There is no quantitative bar that some agreed upon entity creates for cars to be classified as such, but it is more subjective in its nature and it really is a moving mark. Clearly the 959 earned that title, but by today’s measure is outclassed.

The original poster’s wife has a good point in the 992 GT3 RS is not pretty to the eye (at least to most people). I’ll bet that wasn’t the highest priority for Porsche.

Senna in real life is so good looking. Pictures dont do the car justice. The P1 is incredible as well obviously.

I m probably just an old guy now, but I find the trends for the exotic cars seem to follow the theme of "look how ostentatious I can be" design. It's a little too extreme for my tastes.

One of my all-time favorite cars is the humble Ferrari 250 GTO. To my eyes, and I qualify that as a personal opinion, the design of the car is in a class by itself. I much prefer the simple rounded smooth bodies that embolden a very feminine appeal. You want to run your hands over each curve.

As others have noted, the 991 RS pretty much pushed the envelope about as far as you could without tipping over the abyss without looking too pretentious.

Agreed. That's part of the appeal of a 911 to me. It doesn't beg for attention.

I think most McLarens are beautiful, especially the P1. I think the 600LT and 765LT are also gorgeous, and the Artura is even better than the Sport series IMO.

My first reaction to the Senna was it was ugly, but seeing it in person it is much better. Still not what I would call beautiful, but really nice.

I got to see the Aston Martin Valhalla in the flesh in Monterey last weekend. It's absolutely stunning.
Agree on the Valhalla. We just secured the slot with deposit!

When I hear ugly super car for some reason the first thing that pops in my mind as of late is the red with blue Ferrari 296GTB that’s all over YouTube with the hideous blue interior to match the hideous blue front end and matching blue wheels. I have to give it to them…that was a bold choice in color.

Ugly as a whole.... Elva and SP1/SP2 especialy with windscreen.

Bugatti Veyron and centodieci due to hideous front ends.

SP3 Daytona, Apollo IE, and especially T50 due to hideous rear end designs.

Valhalla looks better than the Valkarie IMO.

Lastly the Mission X if launched in current spec.

Interiors of Paganis just arr too flamboyant and I feel certain ones look ok, but one of those types of cars I relate to that girl we've always met at some point.... she just tries to damn hard to look to sexy and dolled up that she ends up looking trashy from trying to hard.

296 is not a supercar.

Ugly it may be, but supercar it is not.

I can never keep up with or understand what exactly defines that.

Veyron is massively spec dependent and needs to be in 'handling' mode (lowered ride height, rear wing deployed). Single-tone painted cars in that position looks good to my eyes, especially in black...
