Ugly Supercars
Showed a photo of the new 992 GT3RS to my wife and the first thing that came out of her mouth was, IT'S UGLY and it got me thinking if the new RS is starting to look like a car, which in Porsche's quest to create the ultimate Track car, is too! much for the street, kind of like a McLaren Senna, which I think is one of the ugliest cars ever created. I know this thread might not be popular with some, but just curious if people on here would be comfortable driving a 99 2GT3RS around town.
Senna UGLY! but fast, I'd be embarrassed driving this around town
McLaren 600LT Fast and Cool looking
991.2 GT3
992GT3RS?

That 991.2 just has such beautiful flowing lines, but at the same time is as fast as you'd want for a street car, but would still be amazing at the Track. I just think the 992RS is starting to look a little gaudy with the canards and giant wing.

Some McLarens aren’t bad looking.

I'm generally ok with the GT3 RS because form is following function. It's a purpose built track car and Porsche has many other options that are more beautiful cars if you just want to cruise on the street. I think the GT4 Spyder is one such example of a truly beautiful car.

I may be in the minority but to my eyes the senna looks amazing. Pictures of the car don’t do it justice. It’s mean as hell in person.
I can appreciate a manufacturer who has both options. Fast/sleek car for the street and a crazy aggressive car for the track. They both have their place.

Yup! I like how everything flows together on that one, doesn't look all clapped together like a Senna or Enzo, P1 looks so much better than the Senna. I'm curious of how the new Z06/Z07 with 670 Naturally Aspirated Horsepower will compare with the 992 GT3RS. I think it has a much cleaner look

If I was looking for a track car only, then the 992RS fits the bill. But if I wanted something to drive around in public, too much cladding imo
