Sorry, not a GT3 story, and honestly I'm not much of a Cars & Coffee guy myself, but worth watching, so I thought I'd share here: https://filmfreeway.com/TheGrayFox

Really well done and touching!
Kind of a bygone era unfortunately, that I can relate too.
When cars were more than transportation.
I started driving in 62 @16 a friends brother who was in the air force returned from Germany with a 356.
Never forget my first ride in a Porsche, gave me the itch , still scratching it 60 years later.

What an amazing video and adventure.
do we think our cars today will last as long? My daughter has already claimed my targa GTS as hers but it already has started to have little things break or require repair. Its 4 years old with 10k miles but time seems to continue to wear on that car…

Thanks for sharing! I plan to keep my car 50 years, if I am still around then and can drive I’ll be in it.
I have learned that newer isn’t always better and stick with what you love. For some cars that is, not many

I've got my dad's 911 that he bought new 50 years ago (he's still alive and well). It just finished a 2 year mechanical restoration. My GT3 will sit next to it in the garage. Here it is the day my dad brought it home in 73.

$4,150 base price was a lot of money back in 1967.
What an adventure!

Yes, I did the exact same inflation calculation.
But I'm talking about the price of the car relative to income.
I remember prepping out Honda Accord's at my local dealer for $4,100 and that was back in 1977.
