Similar to what I heard.

the issue is the custom paint and stitching so they are producing those green /white cars very slowly, and only for america. a pts car will be more unique but not everyone picks good colors.

Question: will you buy the watch? I feel like I would have to if I had the chance to buy one.

New to posting on this forum, so please forgive any out of place questions...

So far, most people I've seen with allocations and posted specs are erring on the very light body colors, with blue/red highlights/wheels. Curious on everyone's thoughts on the following spec, which is what my order is set to now, but have ~2 months until my order locks so want to ensure I don't order something that is too far from the norm

Black cars look awesome... I had a black 350Z, and a black '95 MR2.. I just got tired of trying to keep them clean! Also Texas summer heat is a factor for me when the car is outdoors.

Just a few combinations of colors and accents w WP. Mix of bad and good for what it's worth.

love it!!! The beauty is you can do the guards red interior accents as well and it all ties together.

not a fan of red wheels on anything but black or white. I like the gold wheels the best.

Somewhere posted in another thread there is a tight shot photo of a red rim. Looks a little candy apple and a shade that isn't the same as the stripes. I'm thinking white with red rims, but mismatched reds isn't a good look.

The pyro red and indigo blue wheels are anodized, not painted. I’m confident Porsche paid careful attention to matching the stripes as best as they could. Note that the rear wing actuator is also anodized in red if you choose that accent package.

I definitely wouldn’t do guards red calipers behind the anodized wheels. Black or yellow (if PCCBs).

Think that was me, with this one. I was lucky to see the cars at Silverstone back in September. For me the launch spec looks really good it shows all the dark aero parts off really well. From what I recall the red wheels matched the side decals well. In the absence of a bright PTS colour like signal yellow or gulf orange, with black wheels my preference would be for launch spec WP but painted bonnet.

I'm hoping that the Pyro red anodized wheels are a close enough match to the pyro red decals to not look out of place...counting on Porsche to have done this color matching homework ahead of time! This would be the same scenario for many doing the launch specs but with the WP as well, just mine happens to be black body color

Anodized? Hope it's not a maintenance headache like the Fuchs rims on 911s and 930s. Those required a regular massage with Vaseline.to prevent spotting. Paint is more durable.
