Good question. Kind of sucks in this car. I always have it plugged and in between the seat and center console. More towards my feet.

Do wish there was a cargo net like on the passenger side. That would be perfect imo

Need to come up with a magnet/charge mount location that is clean and doesn’t take modifications to the car.

Next to me between my right leg and right seat bolster. Or I just throw it on the passenger seat. LOL

Since wireless carplay disconnects every time I enter and exit my neighborhood (a well known documented problem), I connect the phone using a small USB-C to lightning cable in the center console storage lid.

I do have two USB cables plugged into the center console storage but unless I am actually charging my phone I don't put the phone in the console and use the leg method as described...... LOL.
Probably need to make it a habit to plug into USB and it will be charged and not be floating on my leg. My BMW has a wireless tray so I am in the habit of putting the phone in the tray and forgetting about it. It even reminds me when I forgot to remove it...
The storage area is a little tight. I also keep a mini-USB with an adapter to convert to USB-C. I probably don't need both USB-C cords plugged in at the same time and can keep one in the glovebox which would give a little more room.
