Am I color blind?

Am I color blind?
I recently ordered Guards Red for my recent GT3 Touring order to be delivered in June. Apparently I have until 4-24 for changes and am having second thoughts about Guards red. I was planning on Paint to Color (Brewster Green) but that’s not available now. Of all the others, I thought Guards red would be OK. Have had Black and Gray GT cars and so don’t want to go there again. I just never see any Guards Red GT3Ts. Am now considering switching to Gentian Blue. I know it’s purely subjective, but would appreciate to see pictures or comments from others on this board. Thanks!

For a touring, sans PTS, I would personally go for Chalk, Arctic, or Gentian. Or even white.
Guards red has just never been that attractive.

I love Guards Red. It's a color that has stood the test of time, it's been offered by Porsche consistently for decades. I had an '83 SC and a '98 C4S in Guards Red.
Red is a commitment for sure however. Do you LOVE it? Not everyone does. Not everyone loves silver either. It really is up to you

This article has as few photos. I really like red on the GT3T, especially if you get the red interior stitching or Exclusive leather with some red accents. Admittedly, I have owned lots of red cars over the years though.

I love GR for the touring. That you don't see many is a plus in my book.

It's a lovely color under the right light conditions, but to my eye it suffers the same fate as racing yellow ... namely that direct sunlight is not its best friend as it washes it out quite a bit.
In the morning light, on a cloudy day, at dusk, and at night it looks beautiful.
Carmine Red was imo the best red, and I regret not ordering the color when it was available as a non-pts option.
All that aside, nothing anyone says here should determine your color choice.

Since 2010 I’ve owned 3 Guards Red GT3s, 1 Black, 1 Lava and 1 Shark Blue GT4. However, if I built a GT3 Touring I’d spec it with Arctic Grey and Satin Neodyme wheels.

I personally think its boldness is better suited for winged cars - I had a GR GT4 and it looked amazing in that color. I love GR as a color - it's such a beautiful shade of red with a nice orange hue. For many, the appeal of the touring is its subtlety, and many paint theirs to fit that purpose. As others point out, it is entirely subjective and entirely your decision.

For me, Guards Red looked the best with the 911SCs & Carreras (84-89). The "Red" seemed to have a slight orangish tint to it and I thought it was the best looking color in those cars. For a brief moment, I even thought about choosing Guards Red for my upcoming '24 992 GT3.

I think it looks great on the GT3 Touring, and while somewhat bold, is less bold than many of the PTS colors I see on the Tourings.

Guards Red is the cure for gray and silver blahs
this is pure Porsche and you will never regret making the Guards Red statement. Wing or Touring it’s a Porsche. Guards red there is no substitute.

Prior cars: '99 Guards Red C2 Cab (beige/black top); '04 Guards Red C4S Cab (beige/black top); '09 Arctic Silver Turbo Cab (Dk Grey Nat Lthr, still have the car); and newest below. Gentian GT3 Touring. Weighed Guards/Beige on the Touring, Guards/Black, and Gentian. Initially hoped to do Carbon Black PTS but after the boat sank PTS halted. Did not want the attention of Guards (even though I love the color), and was ready for something blue. Super happy with choice.
