I’m in the final stages of configuring my RS (locked 4/28) and I’m kinda shocked at how much of an increase exclusive CXX projects went up in price from last year. To paint the piston actuators on the wing are like $20k, I would have thought maybe $5k, other parts like wheels, front air dam and even painting the intakes have all increased I would say about 25-50% in price.
With that being said, it is really great that Porsche offers such a wonderful program to be able to custom tailor your car and create something unique and special.

The populace has showed they are willing to pay 100k++ ADM's just for a seat at the table. Surely you could throw 20k at Porsche to paint some simple actuators.
It helps me stomach cgt maintenance costs to read about 992 rs cxx and adm discussions.
I paid 4k to cxx paint my rear deck lid UV on a 991.1rs but at least I got an aluminum lid for that up charge. Oh and they did just unilaterally jack it up multiples of the original estimate and tell me once it delivered. But reason being they had to use aluminum instead of plastic. Porsche also applied satin gt3rs side script stickers to my UV rs, didn't charge me, didn't include them on build, denied they did it initially and then told me "you're welcome because it should have been a 3k up-charge". Some poor guy got charged 3k with no custom satin scripts from factory. 3k decals. They have been free on every other model. Gotta love Porsche!
I installed Ppf over them and the satin/reflective effect went away
My 991.1rs was a cxx and option check list explosion. My 991.2rs had like 3 options? WS, Leather and fal? I think it's fun to totally customize one but then I realized I had as much fun in the near stripper. And my 7-4.0 was literally a stripper; oh the horror of that plastic dash and all the front lips I had to replace
I had CXX approved for wheels painted and stickers in different color....came to 20k came to my senses and cancelled it all, their pricing is getting out of hand....

Yup pretty much, if people are willing to pay a $100k+ ADM then hey so another $20k-$50k in CXX options?
