After watching that video, watch the following video. This explains the corvette ownership quite well.

A friend of mine was nice enough to give me some seat time in his new Z06 at my local track yesterday back to back with my GT3.
ZO6 +
- Wow, what an engine, would feel right at home in any exotic you can name. Interior sound, power, and that startup....
- Pretty well balanced
- Lap time very similar to 992 GT3 (2.4 mile circuit, not a power track like the Glen, but not slow either)
Z06 -
- Doesn't quite have that 'on rails' feeling you get with the 992 GT3 on track
- Edgier at the limit than the GT3
- Rectangular steering wheel takes a bit of getting used to
Bottom line is Savage Geese hit it pretty well on the head. As a street car it may be even more entertaining, as track car the GT3 is just a bit sharper, both great cars.

Very cool, thanks for the real life comparison.
In regards to the GT3 feeling sharper, I think that probably comes down to the bushing sets. The GT3 is fully hard mounted I believe where is counts. I do not think GM went full solid attach points, I think they still have some rubber in the attachment bushings.

Disclaimer : I will be buying a Z07 so dont take my statement as bashing of the brand but just an opinion.

I dont think thats the only reason. My 992 Turbo S or 991.2 GT3 do not have solid bushings and they were far more precise than C7 ZR1 I used to own. This vagueness in steering in the corvette is by design to cater to the old grandpa crowd as they dont like rawness. This is why there is a 8mm thick glass to filter out mechanical noises and a fake sound system to pipe in engine sound that is lost because of that.

That could be it too, who knows, I was just guessing on what it could be. FEEL (from a chassis and directness POV) is in general largely dependent on the stiffness of the bushings and attach points.
Before my GT4, I had a SS 1LE and as great as that car was handling wise, it had a little lateral movement in the rear. I swapped in solid rear bushings and the car was then laser sharp and very direct.
At the same time, when I got my GT4, it also had a little bit of lateral movement in the rear with the suspension loaded up in the corners. However in the GT4's case , it was caused by the soft sidewalls of the Cup2 tires and as soon as I put a stiffer sidewall tire on it, it was much more direct and precise.

Great video. Been a big fan of Randy ever since I found out that he started his career auto crossing. I autocrossed for 7 years before I started doing track events. Anyway, love the turn by turn breakdown of the turn itself, and each car's performance in them. Very cool.
