After 150 miles with it I was like wow feels like a 930 from the 80's, glad others think the same

Went for a drive last weekend and a friend filmed a short video. It's not great, it's shaky, but I think it gives a small indication of what makes this car so special ... namely this sense that it is the perfect fusion of TTS and GT3 resulting into one epic 911 that's unlike any other in the lineup. Of course the video doesn't capture the torque or handling, but it does show the most surprising aspect of this car which is the level of NA sound Porsche has managed to extract out of a turbo engine on acceleration whilst maintaining the burbles on decel. The car in Sport+ has as much GT car as one would wish for on the street whilst wrapped in the most elegant of visual packages. I love this thing.

That was the thing that most surprised me - that it sounds very NA. While I was trying to respect the 4,500 (ish) RPM limit during break-in, it also felt very NA. It sounds as though that’ll change once out of the break-in period and driving it harder on the throttle and higher in the rev range, but it seemed very analog and NA during my thousand or so miles in Europe. Can’t wait to resume the experience on home soil.

Have you guys driven the 992 turbo s with sport exhaust?
From the video it sounds the same to me, which is a good thing.
Of course, video can be deceiving.

Sounds similar to a Turbo S with sport exhaust to my ears.

Drove them back to back ... the SC sounds louder and more raw to me. It's not night and day, but it's discernible to my ears ... but it could be in my head like a lot of things.

Also fwiw, I let several Porsche sales people and managers drive it who'd never driven one and they all said it sounded different than any TTS they ever sold or driven.
