That’s the thing I particularly like about the color, very few are indifferent. Thankfully I think it’s sensational. But more than one have made it clear (paraphrasing) that mine is a waste of both a PTS slot AND a Sport Classic. For me, I had a huge sense of urgency that at least one Sport Classic was ordered in Linden Green. And I’m hugely grateful to have it. Also totally get that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
My thinking was the same is yours. Its a polarizing color, not for everyone, but thats what I love about it! It definitely photographs poorly, so i also like how it looks better in person.

Without a doubt! It's very bright in pictures, like acid or birch. In real life its a much warmer hue, needs to be seen in person to be appreciated for sure.

Yeah, that’s the thing that’s hard to see - that it’s warm and rich. Sort of as mustard is to yellow, Linden is to green. Or a mustard with green tint. Yeah, not really doing it. Wasabi is the best description.
It very comforting like a bowl of warm green pea soup on a cold winter day... or the stinky smell of a baby's first ever poop.... brings a smile every time ...

@mathfuzzy, just want to personally thank you for your posting under sports classic as this made me aware of “ 226/lindgrün” incredible color and your using Pepita on the interior was genius.

That’s awesome. I’d like to take more credit for the black / Pepita combination, but it’s one of the two standard heritage interiors. The team at Exclusive did an amazing job with the whole design.
John- You know I have a 226 LindGrun PTS Cayman and I LOVE it! It ALWAYS causes a stir, some love it, some hate it, but everybody has some kind of reaction to it. I am THRILLED you ordered a car for you, who cares what others think? Sure someone will chime in about "resale" value but I would venture to say longterm your car will outperform the myriad of safe combo's out there. I have countless people who have begged to buy my car (not for sale) all the while others tell me it's awful.... Kudos to you, well done!

Hey Nathan - yeah, more curiosity. It seems 10:1 favorable, but nobody is on the fence. Exactly what I love about your Cayman. I think it’s sensational, but also realize some react at the other end of the spectrum. In any case, I’m happy to have ordered a car that is deeply personal and I’m so happy with the end product.
