TRAKCAR GT3RS prod. started Oct 5 sits till January
I cancelled Euro Delivery because its impossible with these moving dates.
Not in a hurry for the car but if I knew it would be January, I might have suffered through the ED program people..
A bit concerning that the car sits somewhere 2 or 3 months in some kind of half built state?
I received the progress pics October 5, not it seems they hope to complete the build in December?!
I have the poverty edition, only PCCB option, base otherwise!
With no rust proofing, I hope its inside somewhere...

Most likely related to the standard headlight or wheels. Mine was delayed 45 days right after I got those same 2 pictures. My friend has the standard wheels and his was 34 days delayed.
From all the specs I’ve seen, just about no one picks the standard wheels and only a handful pick the standard headlights.

I heard its because you didnt hit the msrp threshold to contribute to the fat bonus paychecks of PAG management.
Kidding of course.
From my experience, every single car that waited like this either in half built state or in emden came with some form of damage, imperfections, electronic issues, or other weird issues. Cars dont like to sit for months no matter what porsche or other people may lead you to think otherwise.
Kidding of course.

After that a sales stop occurred a month or two for UV. But it became so popular they brought it back after they learned how to paint purple.
My Lizzard paint was perfect.

Lights, other dooda’s are available on all 992 and are most likely not the cause. Most likely base wheels and PCCB…

all the best Peter!
mine sat also 4 months outside... with a lot dirt (from shoes) in it based on serveral internal transfers.
anyhow... to you i can say such things. because our cars are and will not be pampered.
as soon you go to EU - let me know please!

Very strange. Mine went into production on October 7 and is on a truck between Toronto and Vancouver already. The only delay was 2 weeks sitting in Halifax port waiting for truck. I have PCCB as well, but also mag wheels and HD headlights, so maybe indeed the wheels are the cause. Hard to say with Porsche. Hopefully, it does not take too long. When it gets to you, check the tires for cracking just in case. It sometimes happens to these cars when they spend too much time outside or even on a truck in winter.
