Default Cross posting. PCM now integrated with CarPlay

Got an alert on this. Don’t know who else is aware that pcm deep integration with CarPlay is being retrofitted with pcm6 vehicles. Mine is 2022 gt3.

Have to set it up with my Porsche app. It is quite extensive with options. Still playing with it.

I've got it set up on my 2022 GT3 with the PCM 6.0 Cluster 37 software update. Nice to be able to get this on an early September 2021 production car!

Does this require the dealer to update the PCM to 6.0 or is there some other way to update software?

Dealer only, and it’s multiple hours.

My dealer charged Porsche 1.6 hours per the invoice. They did pickup and delivery for me, so they had it all day anyway.

Are folks enjoying results? Any bugs? I want to do this, but want to make sure it'll work seamlessly and thus be worth the labor hours.

It is the My Porsche App integration with Carplay. I actually got paid to try the software by Porsche design. Some of the features might be helpful and it is easy to change the IOS app vs. the PCM updates.
Near gas stations or coffee shops could be helpful. It also has a function to change the ambient lights (also part of PCM). Cards for radio station favorites. The main thing is they set the foundation and can make updates to the IOS app

Porsche is making an effort to expand PCM with the MyPorsche app. Also, they are looking for input. The screen shot is new and they are trying to capture more "car" metrics.
Let me know if you have additional suggestions for features you think would be helpful. I have been working with one of the folks from the Porsche Design team. They are looking for me feedback.

Hi “Rodneyr” thanks for working on this for all of us. Any way to see the CARD Layout and make adjustments to what is on which page?

Default My Porsche App

Yes, you can manage the Cards. Not the most intuitive in terms of setup. For example, I removed Apple Music because I don't have a subscription so I can't use it.

Here's one I suggested last July: The My Porsche app shows all kinds of info such as: Fuel level, oil level, tire pressure, etc. However, it doesn't show the one thing that would most concern me if I were leaving the car for a few weeks: battery voltage. The car knows its voltage (it displays it on the dashboard, e.g. "13.4V"), so it may just be a matter of the app displaying the voltage.

I think battery voltage is a good one for a GT3 or RS because they are not typically daily drivers and tend to sit for a while especially in the winter.
