But my original axles are still performing fine (but this is cheap insurance or peace of mind that they continue to do so).

Could it be they're not optimized for the non-RS variant? I.e. could they unsettle rear axle aerodynamics in the base GT3 and make handling worse or change lift since they're optimized for RS and its more aggressive aero profile?
Ordered a pair anyway but just wondering....

Wow, very reasonable price. However, unless you are tracking the car you will not see any benefit.

Has anyone been able to install these yet? Mine were delivered a couple of days ago but it will be a few weeks before I am back at house. Anxious to see how these go in and if there is anything to look out for.

just got my set. haven't had time to install yet but looks like need to remove the screws from the front of the diffuser as this gets sandwiched under it.

I was starting to, but then noticed I already have a grease leak at one of the boots
It’s an inner one (new ducts cool the inners a bit more but are mostly there to add cooling to outers):

I did mine yesterday. Super easy with just two torx screwdrivers once the car is up in the air. Just watch out for the little clip on the front part of the new duct that needs to go over the sheet metal bracket in the car to sit flush.

I installed mine a few weeks ago. Took longer to get the car in the air than to swap the part. Uses the stock bolts and mount points. No drilling and extremely simple to install. As far as usefulness, who knows, but figured a little extra air circulated in there can't hurt. The brake duct inlets are also slightly larger than the stock one, so a little extra air forced there also.
