seems like AP created the S/T to address the complaints that people like me have been screaming for years, that Porsche GT cars while getting faster and more capable were simultaneously losing their sense of occasion. GT cars used to be loud, raw special cars that were noticeably different from their 911 brothers, so much that few people wanted them as they were such a departure from the typical Turbo or 911 S. As the GT department starting cranking out cars in large numbers to appeal to masses, some of us felt like the product while quite amazing was losing that special feeling. I don’t want my GT car to feel like I am driving a 911 Turbo S. With regulations changing soon, seems like Porsche and AP threw all it could at this car to make an old school car again.

I personally couldn’t be more thrilled to pick up my S/T in a few months. Certainly will let everyone here know my thoughts.

Thanks for posting nice video. I wonder as to why one was not to keen on the steering feel etc. I have only had 20 mins in friends car that was being run in, but the steering feel feedback etc along with the throttle response and just how light the car felt were the highlights of the car for me. Imo, this 992 ST really has a dose of the" Fairy Dust", that they seem to find for the very special cars.
