Default Performance at Altitude

Really feel a difference in power delivery at altitude especially at 2nd and 3rd gear with a delay to getting into the power band compared to seas level. It's not just a decrease in Power but a sluggishness in getting into the power curve. Would a tune or new exhaust headers improve this? Thx

I think you’re mostly feeling a greater than 15% loss in torque and power due to reduced air density (best case if you’re on the plains and much worse in the mountains).

Try to keep revs up (be in the lowest gear possible), but I don’t know if anything can really help that much (but I’ve never done a tune or exhaust).

Of course turbocharging and/or electric hybrid will help tremendously (but I’m holding out with NA as long as possible).

Yes this may be true, I just never felt it quite this prominently I think it's because I'm carrying much more speed in the corners and thus in different gears than in my previous GT cars.

Are you using 91 octane? Might run a bit better with several gallons of race fuel added (the 100 Octane lead-free stuff at HPR)…

I had heard the octane doesn't make a difference but I have NOT done my own testing! I am going to try that out next weekend and see if there is any difference thanks Grant
