992.2 has been suggested to be mild hybrid. Expect a healthy hp bump as such. I would guess in the 750 range for TTS models. Camo'd car has been photographed in testing.

Hybrid TTS was seen being tested at the Ring late last year, so fingers crossed it will finalized in time for the 992.2 release.

There was a 992.2 TTS seen testing a few weeks ago with what appears to be active aero in the front intakes, so if no hybrid then maybe at least those changes.

Hybrid was that plan from the start of 992...they left room for the battery and the technology is certainly here.

I expect it will show by 992.2. How many people saw the all-turbo transition coming from 991.1 to 991.2?

I don’t need more power, and don’t want the added weight and complexity of hybrid. If 992.1 is the last non-hybrid, it’s very likely a long-term keeper for me.

I trust my dealer and they tell me the 992.2 will not be hybrid and that it will be MY 2024 which means we won’t be seeing them on the roads here until 2025.
It seems that all bets are off if we try to follow past practices because my MY 2022 was built in September 2022 which used to be a 2023 MY.

100% agree. I don't want the hybrid.

I hear the mild hybrid solution would add at least 400 lbs, and while the car will have mitigated turbo spool, the added weight penalty has got to be taken into account. It will be interesting to see how much faster 0-60 will be. Probably not much, but rolling pull numbers will be awesome I would presume.

That's a huge weight increase. I believe the TTS is around 400 lbs heavier than the GT3, which is kind of a lot, but the TTS doesn't feel heavy, so the weight increase is acceptable. Another 400 lbs would make the car too heavy to be called a proper sports car, and would be a total no-go for me. I say again: this car doesn't need to be any faster, it's already bordering on too fast!
