To Patton250: I saw this video and did find it clownish. Let's see what he says in a year.

Everything is in a discount in the UK.

Watching the market seems to be a fair amount of Used/CPO inventory sitting, and a lot of price drop alerts. Most seem listed above MSRP still, but not moving.

I've been offered two TTS allocations at MSRP from two TX based dealers in the last 6mo... paying an ADM is crazy at this point...

Gotta be careful. In my experience “no adm” dealers might want you to purchase 25-45k worth of additional stuff. This will not be evident till you ask.

Today's Stuttgart Market Letter had a BAT sale of $218K for a $247K '22 TTS about 6500 miles IIRC...

Speaking of games, I was promised a Turbo S allocation at sticker and lo and behold, nothing. Come to find out they had one, just wasn't offered to me. Guess I didn't play enough stupid games. Never buying even a f* coffee mug there again. Peace.

NAPLETON

Was also told by a couple SA that work there that they've been told to "up their game"...

In the end, it's business and the dealer decisions are driven primarily by money.

Dealers are being pressured to push options. There is always a pecking order. Just like expensive watches. How many Porsches have you purchased from your dealer? I'm on about my 25th since my first in 1979. Received my Turbo GT with 28K in options the end of Decembe '23. My wife's Turbo S Cab with 56K in options is about an hour from docking in the U.S. & her Cayenne Turbo Coupe with 62K in options is at V110. I do get preferential treatment. As they say:If they are in bed with you they are a lover. If they are in bed with somebody else they are a *****.

Fair enough, but when you are told next TTS allocation is yours, then they welch on the decision and aren't truthful, it hurts the whole dealer name IMO. I bought 5 cars there (and won't buy another).

On top of that, the communication sucked. No notice, no option of another car. They just don't give a f*.

Options, fine, any TTS build I have is easily over $40k in options, it's hard to keep the car under $270k. That matters little when your word is on the line. So yeah, big deal, dealers need to keep their f* word on things.

One thing I've noticed in the last few years is that people have a hard time keeping their word on things in general. WTF? Less follow-up, less action. Businesses not going the extra mile. If this market flips over sideways I'll have my popcorn ready, I'll guaran-damn-tee you.

The pandemic and subsequent economic sugar high messed up people’s minds.

I agree totally. I didn't say it was fair.
