Gezzz, it's one thing to get the ADM peanut gallery riled up but they emailed your SM to complain? Geez, some people need to get a life.

Are you serious? That’s taking this to a whole other level and I’m glad they ignored him but what if they didn’t and this dope screwed up your order? These guys….

100% serious. I almost asked him to forward it to me, so I could put this jackazz on blast… but then remembered I dont actually give a sheet lol. The fact someone needed to do this so they could feel better about themselves is rewarding enough for me. I got one, they dont…

Got a call from a southeast US dealer contact of mine, got a Turbo S Coupe allocation, July build. They're asking 30k over MSRP.

Thats crazy. Do you guys actually bother to email the dealers on autotrader or cars.com? I have seen so many price drops, some $10,000/week. There is a car in tactical fleet that he cant sell for $20,000 over, another one in FL that he cant sell for $10,000 over, hennessey had one that they listed at $320,000 and last price on it was $263,000 ($14,500 over), I believe it sold for $12,000 over. The market has pretty much gone into the correction mode. I would absolutely not pay a penny over msrp unless you are a person that works 80 hours/week and cant be bothered with doing a bit of emailing around. Come september, these cars will be going below msrp in the second hand market. Just spend a little bit of time reaching out to people and look at other indicators. The golden indicator of 911 market is the GT3. The 991s have been selling for msrp last 2 months with 8-10k miles. Low mileage cars are listed $20k over which means it will sell for $10-15k over. What makes you think TTS is worth $20-30k over? Those same GT3s were asking for $50-60k over last summer (and some sold at those prices).
If you go to cars.com, nationwide search, porsche/911, the most number of cars for sale is turbo s as a trim by far. Its more than the base 911 or another trim. Porsche also flooded the dealers with allocations in january and once those cars start hitting stateside you will have even more cars in the second hand market.

^ Yes. hes right about Q1 '23 allocations, there seems like a lot of TTS are coming this way, judging by the posts on here.
I think for me, the TTS is a keeper long term, especially with all this Hybrid crap coming.

Also I have heard from a good source hybrid isnt happening this year. It may be a long MY2023 run beyond July and then MY2024 starts december or january with hybrid.

Ya it does seem that way. Its like they jacked up the price to finish off a long run of 23s, retool, 24s and another price increase.

This is a good point. If its a keeper car, it may not matter to pay a little bit of premium. But honestly I got 3 different dealers calling me when my turn came at msrp. I didnt even have to negotiate with them. Some dealers such as the ones that are owned by penske dont charge (cant charge) mark up as per corporate policy. So maybe folks here can start with penske porsche dealers when they are looking for allocations.

I think thats a really good price given the miles and given where the market is. I have a few more data points:
- There is a lw package car in florida with 800 miles just sold for $9k over msrp (and I think car has full PPF)
- A dealer sold a 3,000 mile car $8k over msrp that has CPO (so really $4k over given the CPO cost)
- Another dealer (whom shall remain nameless) who was very arrogant 1 month ago asking almost $40k over has come down to $11k over (car has roughly over 1,000 miles)
These are the notable ones. There are several others that have reduced their prices from $45-50k over down to $25k over but not selling.
I would not pay a penny over msrp given how much easier it has gotten to get allocations. Wait another month and these cars will go for even lower.
