Allocations for 2023 Builds
Am I basically out of luck, with or without ADM, for a Turbo or Turbo S Cab build this year (ideally by summer)?
Will be first Porsche. Appreciate any and all guidance here. Thank you.

No one knows how many allocations are left or coming… but it might shut down sooner than later to retool for the 992.2s possibly.
Even if you do get an allocation, there are lots of optional parts missing lately.
Last summer, at least in Canada, we didn’t see any allocations for the rest of the year after Q1.

I had an allocation for a 2022 Porsche Turbo. It arrived three months ago as a 2023 Porsche after a 15 month wait. It was at MSRP. I ordered my next one at that time (a GT3). I want the next one before the Porsche 911 goes all-electric.
I say you need to get on the list very quickly for a new Porsche 911. It's my 4th ordered water-cooled Porsche 911.

Curious did you pay 2022 or 2023 pricing?

I just ordered a new Porsche 911 that may be made in the next ~two years, They don't require money up front.
The year 2035 is nuts. No one knows about that.

Another possibility is to find a build that is close to what you want that a buyer backed out of. In some cases you can pick these up for MSRP. It's not exactly what you want in terms of options, but at least you land the car you want in a time frame that isn't a year or two out.

Yeah, you could just go on cars.com or some other site and get a car right now if you want one. Tons for sale, and for not much over MSRP. When you consider taxes the owner paid, maybe they got an expensive PPF, etc, getting a "used" car in the color you like so you can have a car right now is a great idea.

There is absolutely NO reason to be paying ADM on a Turbo S anymore... Thats people talking about prior years. Porsche gave me a Turbo S allocation that I converted into a GT3 allocation.
No one is paying that kind of ADM ($50k) on a Turbo S, hell GT3's are barely pulling that anymore (more like $40k).. The market is softened notably since last year this time. Dont fall for dealers telling you that its still the same market... they WANT it to be... but its not...
This is coming from a guy who bought a 2022 Turbo S new at MSRP, and has a 2023 GT3 arriving in 2-3 weeks that I also ordered/bought new at MSRP.

You need to be an aggressive buyer. Contact as many Porsche dealers as you can indicating that you want a car and if they get a cancellation (happening often now) to call you immediately as you have the funds waiting.

ADM on a TTS may not be $50k but dollars to donuts many folks are paying ADM. Last I saw, the number of available 2022 TTS has gone down from about 100 to about 72 in a matter of a month. There might be some cars available but there will be blood in the water come May.
