I was a longtime Valentine One fan. I had a fleet of cars running the old school breadbox ones, then upgraded to the skinnier ones, then finally got a V2. V2 has no GPS and relies on BT to your phone to get that data. This eliminates using BT for wireless audio to the headunit. Since then I have switched to the Uniden R7 platform which doesn't need a BT phone connection. Can lock out known false emitters on GPS so I don't have to get skull f*cked all day long with false alarms.
For the dashcam I just installed a FitcamX which looks more OEM than the Porsche OEM unit

I Just purchased the Uniden R8 for my new 992.1, with a build date starting this Monday.
I did a ton of research and felt the R8 had more features contained within, rather than having to use a cell phone to use additional features.
2nd choice for me would have been the Valentine-V2.
