Anyone else have an issue where Apple Music will just stop streaming after some period of time? I'll be listening to a playlist without issue for a long time, then it will just stop streaming. I'll start any track again, it will play for a few seconds and stop. Rinse, repeat. Sometimes I can log out and back in and it will solve the issue, other times not.

are you using wireless or wired connection? Are there deadspots in your cellular coverage?

No, not CarPlay. The native Apple Music streaming. It's not a coverage issue.

I believe the music has to be stored in your device? e.g. I use Qobuz but I have my play lists downloaded to my iPhone. Also, try connecting your phone before you start your car.

It doesn't have to be stored on the device. The latest PCM has Apple Music integrated natively. No phone required. This is different than Apple Music playing via CarPlay. It's Apple Music playing directly via the PCM WITHOUT CarPlay.

I use Deezer music app thru iphone because it offers hd music which just sounds better than anything Apple puts out IMO, I use it every time in the car, works fantasic
