Default 911 Cab Turbo S - New to the hunt

Any dealers charging a reasonable AMD? $10K is ok. I have a dealer in NY charging a discounted AMD of $40K. Too rich for me. Any dealers being more reasonable. Want a European delivery...I am told that gets a dealer their allocation back...

New to the 911 Cab - Turbo S hunt.

Advice?

"A discounted ADM"- that is an oxymoron.

In all seriousness; Turbo S a very tough to get right now. Easier to get a GTS these days.

Saw this on the showroom floor at Porsche Tyson's (Virginia) when I was there picking up an oil filter yesterday. . Not brand new, but you can enjoy the summer and cool autumn days in this vs a year's wait.

Also, Most dealers will NOT take an order outside of their local selling area for an allocation If you want new, you will have to stay with a dealer in your region.

If I were in your shoes I would include CPO cars in my search.

Best case scenario in that case would be a one year old car with less than 1k miles, two extra years of warranty, no wait time, and paying MSRP.

I want a new to me cab as well. There are plenty of nice ones for the $250,000 range. Still, I am frustrated with paying new car prices for a 3 year old car. It is holding me back. I have been watching prices and IMO the pressure is down for sure.

Guys - just a quick, crazy and possibly an unreal update. I went online and started in CA and NY dealers - working via chat function. Three dealers called and said no luck - no allocation, etc...and by the way we will not sell to you in NC.

1 Dealer in CA - Redwood City, called and said they have an allocation. So what is the catch...he said nothing. Send me a deposit and it is yours at MSRP. I did, he sent me the order and a request for $4,000 more. I wired the money and now I have an order with build in November for January delivery. Doing Atlanta delivery at the center and that's it.

I did one dealer in Orlando FL, he called and was working to see what he could do. No reply after that..

Guess I got lucky. Got email and order proof today from Porsche.

Looking forward to driving with the community soon. First Porsche. 911 Turbo S - Cabriolet. I am pretty EXCITED!!!

Bought a new 23 Turbo S cab and couple months back, actually offered 2k under MSRP. It was an impulse purchase so great experience.

Was offered an allocation on a 24 build for a TTS Cab - of course they also wanted $20K in ADM. I realize these are some of the harder models to get but not thrilled about the ADM either (especially on a well optioned PTS).

Try Porsche Brooklyn. I received allocation for 24' Turbo S a few months ago. No ADM. Unclear if they have any more but could be worth the shot.

You kiddin' me? Still having ADMs on TTS cars? The market value has plummeted ! I've heard of many TTS cabs available on allocation but not as many coupes.

In February I had two offers on buildable TTS allocations. One was MSRP, and one was, “ we can probably get rid of the adm if you get your order in in next 24 hrs. This was when sport design, PTS and heritage design interior were not available.

Since then I feel like the financial positioning of 250k car buyers has significantly improved. Buyers wanting sport design and or heritage interior can now bite. I promise you I know how to play the car game, ( maybe not better than everyone, but I have an ok collection). I “had” msrp in February, now I can’t find msrp on a buildable allocation for TTS. I want heritage interior before it goes away, so I bent over and found some change in the couch for an adm.

Completely agree! I refused to pay over MSRP. Had offers from $15,000 to $50,000. I found a dealer outside my local area that sold me the TTS for MSRP. I built the car the way I wanted (in March).

The car is in the US, has cleared customs, is awaiting the truck, and should be at the dealership in a couple of days or so.

I've seen used TTS's at the dealership for more than I paid for a brand-new TTS, built to my specs.
