992 Turbo S "Hermes Edition" in Thailand, real or fake?
Hey all. I wanted to ask regarding this 992 Turbo S that i saw here in Bangkok at a supercar dealership.
The 992 looks just like every other 992 Turbo S.
However, when i talked to the employee he said it is a 1 of 1 Hermes Edition in Thailand and currently for sale. I said to him it could just be an option as i remember seeing it when playing on the configurator. But the sales denied and assured me its a "Hermes Edition" and unlocked the car for me and show it was written on the doorsills.
After my visit, i googled "Porsche 992 Hermes Edition" and none came out, besides the advertisement of the car. https://vattanaautosale.com/listings/2022-porsche-911-turbo-3-7-992-s-coupe/ so kinda sketchy.
Any idea on what is it and how could the doorsills say Hermes if it was a very highly configured 992 Turbo S? Wouldn't copyright and censorship get in the way?
Thanks, hope to get some answer.

If it were a real collaboration with Hermès, then the second 'e' would have the accent over it. As it is, someone has just selected customized door sill plates and put that word there and then selected a color scheme to go along with that idea.

Haha...reminds me of the valet telling me that mine was the first "Sunshine Edition" he had seen. This was an option when I ordered my TTS.

This. Definitely not a collab. It's Thailand. Theyre the second biggest counterfeiting country. And huge label ******.

Your car looks great, i think this option is a must when i buy my first brand new Porsche. Does the font are pre selected by them or do you can put a custom font and logo?

Ya... it's totally bogus. The guy just ordered Bespoke Door Sill Plates.
Funny thing is; Porsche won't let you configure it with any rude or offensive print.
For instance; I just tried to configure a 'Herpes Edition', and it won't let you do it (or any rude word).
Here's what the 1 of 1 Hermes Edtion actually is:

Why would you Hermes on the door sill? Good grief.

I'd rather repeatedly punch myself in the dick than label my car like that to be cool. GTFO

ordered it in January 2021. At the time I chose the font and sent the electronic file to my SA. No idea what's available now.

My '21 that I purchased in Nov '22 with only 791km, had Batman and Catwoman for custom door sills.
Well, if the car was a black on black RS, well ok I get the joke.
But a Chalk Turbo S ! Kinda fun but not my joke.
I promptly replaced them.
