Default New 992 Turbo S Oil leak @ 1200 miles

Apparently this is still and issue. It looks like the rear main seal or oil pan gasket among other causes. Anyone else?? New 2024 Turbo S delivered 8/23/23

Wouldn't this show up at PDI? My car is due in a few days, hopefully not a issue.

That gasket must be getting pinched when it goes on… Porsche builder had too many beers that day at lunch perhaps.

There is so much plastic on these cars, it’s crazy… the drain plug is even plastic lol.

Default Oil leak.

I had the exact experience. My 2021 TTS. had arrived at the dealership.
The very next day I visited the dealership to look it over.
My salesperson escorted me to the service bay area. I
saw my new arrival. It had all of its shipping protection attached
and waiting to be serviced for delivery.

I was shocked to see a puddle of oil exactly where yours was located.
I pointed it out to my salesperson. He summoned a service tech.
The tech came over saw the leak and very calmly stated " We see this from
time to time, I will take care of it and your car will be ready for pickup when
promised".

I really didn't panic at all The way the tech calmly handled the situation left me at ease.
I have had my TTS. since March of 2021 and have not experienced another leak.

Its unfortunate that you have discovered a leak. I hope your fix is a simple one like mine.
Best of luck.

I didn’t follow up on it. Knowing it would be under warranty for the next four years I didn’t give it another thought.

I had the car towed from the dealership to the PPF shop. While there for a week they advised no leaks were noticed.

What year is your car (build date) and how many miles do you have on it? Just curious if this problem manifests early on after delivery or at any time. My car is a November 2022 build and took delivery in January 2023....approaching 4,000 miles and no leak thus far. Also inspected underneath after doing an early oil change and very clean with no signs of any issue.

12,500 miles. Been leaking for a while. Never had a chance to investigate till now. Loose bolt in case.
