Default 992 Turbo S - Which exhaust for F1 sound?

I know that there are many threads about exhaust systems. From the many videos I’ve seen I haven’t heard one system that has more of a higher pitched F1 sound. My other car which is an F8 has a Novitec exhaust and despite it being a TT V8 the exhaust has a very high pitched F1 sound which is what I prefer.

Are any of you familiar with a system that reproduces a more natural F1 sound? If so, what would have to be replaced and with what parts?

I dont think that will be possible on this over square flat 6 turbo engine... They just do not sound like that.

Angryinch is right. Its just not possible unfortunately.

The loudest most high pitch you will get is going to be something without mufflers and cats. Even that is not going to be loud.

No F1 sound but a good allrounder for the best bang for buck.

Another choice for enhancing both sound and performance is Soul Performance Products.
Good selection with excellent top notch service.

Titanium exhausts tend to have a higher pitch FWIW

If you want an F1 sound, you bought the wrong sports car.

For pure sound you need to stick with Ferraris - get an 812 GTS and slap a Novitec exhaust on it - one of the best sounds ever.

If you want to stick to Porsche but want something close to an F1 sound, you need to find a good used Carrera GT.

I second Soul. Their catless sounds amazing. No F1 high pitch, more of a low growl and rumble with TONS of turbo noise. LOVE IT.

Here is mine with IPE Titanium exhaust and high flow cats launching so you can hear what that sounds like. Excuse the graininess of the video, my friend took it and sent it to me from phone to phone and it compressed it.

And here is from inside the car.

We do a lot of Soul Performance, Kline, and Akrapovic. Akrapovic being the least of the F1 sound. Hard with this engine.

Are most of you replacing the cats too or just the exhaust?

I was reading that messing with the cats will trigger CELs.

I did exhaust and 200 cell cats but I tuned it at the same time.

Yeah not sure if I would want a tune. Maybe I’ll just do a titanium exhaust setup and skip the cats unless many of you are of the opinion the cats make a big difference.

they do make a pretty good difference, if you don't want to do a tune you might get a CEL if you do cats. Some say the cats might cause it and some don't. After feeling this car tuned I wouldn't want to go back, just for even for throttle response, but even talking about power. Throttle response was so sluggish on this car stock.
