992 TTS stage 4 tune
Hi everyone. I have really been enjoying my new 992TTS and wanted to share. I’ve known Sam@ByDesign for quite some time now and always enjoyed watching what he does with these cars from the 993 through the 991. This is my second 992TTS that he has tuned. I had been speaking with him and picking his brain for almost a year. He’s been great about answering my questions anytime. He explained that recently that they had been working very hard with Cobb and his team to come out with their own in-house power packages and tuning. On my 2022 992TTS I “just” did tuning/software alone and it was pretty amazing. Of course I wanted more so with Sam’s help we decided on the Stage 4 set up for my 2024. I’m in California, so I wanted to keep the catalytic converters and run clean. Kind of a tall order for about 900hp but they did it. The car is beyond awesome! Flawless drivability, linear power, no problems, no check engine lights. Service and quality always there with Sam and he even offered me a full guarantee! Not that I needed it. The guys at World Motorsport worked together with Sam and took great care of me keeping me updated every step of the way. The stage 4 set up which provides a 30%+ increase in usable HP and TQ is an absolute bargain. It’s a hypercar at a supercar price. I can’t recommend Sam and this set up enough.

Hi everyone. Stage4 on the 992 follows our successful, traditional recipe from the 996-991. This consists of our own or hand-picked/tested bolt ons enhanced by our ByDesign/TiAL turbo charger upgrade. In the case of the 992 they are 1200hp capable. In fact, it’s the same size but a special design compressor as we use in the ByDesignXR kit.
On Harry’s car we are using Kline 200cel catalytic converters and a factory rear exhaust. With just pump gas and no methanol we were able to make a pretty solid 780 to the wheels.
we’ve been quietly working very hard on this set up and testing/development. Soon, I’m sure you will see more of our clients cars shipped in from all over the country start sharing some numbers and sharing their experience. We’ve easily gone over 900 to the wheels with methanol on the stock motor. 60 to 130 is in the 4.6 range with 150 mph trap speeds running just over 850 or 860 to the Wheels. It’s a very efficient system and we are very proud of it. Everyone who works with us is getting the Sambo guarantee

We are getting great results combining our turbos with the DO88 intercooler and full intake kit.
Our 3” ByDesign/Kline exhaust finishes things off with the new cast ByDesign/Level exhaust manifolds. It’s all about efficiency.
PDK tuning is needed for power levels beyond 750wheel and holds strong through 1000wheel before running a Dodson clutch.
Stock puts down just under 600 on this Dyno. About 590
