That's a weird and bad design (in addition to outer two gauges being obscured by the steering wheel).

It lights up in the 991 cars - as it should!

There've been times where I look like I'm doing some kind of Buddhist ritual swiping my palm back and forth like an idiot then have to ultimately grab the key fob to press the button.

Definitely looks strange to someone watching in a parking lot that doesn't know what you are trying to do.

Engage the car's PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) while cruising on the interstate or similar roads. This feature enhances stability and provides pinpoint steering precision.

Does that also make the ride stiffer? Roads here can be a bit rough.

If the interstate is smooth, you won't notice any additional stiffness at seventy-plus MPH. If the road is rough, you won't notice the better ride PDCC provides. Give it a try.

While I don’t have this feature in my car due to having an Alcantara wheel, I found the steering wheel heat button on accident while driving a loaner Macan. Slick ***** Porsche!

Unfortunately that’s the nature of the buggy PCM software.

That never happens to me so something is not right. Do you have the most up to date PCM?

there is an override sequence IIRC. I would RTFM or check on the 992 subforum I remember having to do the same

PDCC is always on, the two settings are just softer and stiffer.

I gave up on the magic wave thing, it doesn't work for me. I just use the key.
