I noticed my frunk is hit or miss. Guess I need to practice.
There've been times where I look like I'm doing some kind of Buddhist ritual swiping my palm back and forth like an idiot then have to ultimately grab the key fob to press the button.

lol. Same here, just stopped using this feature altogether and always grab the key.
Engage the car's PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) while cruising on the interstate or similar roads. This feature enhances stability and provides pinpoint steering precision.

Does that also make the ride stiffer? Roads here can be a bit rough.

If the interstate is smooth, you won't notice any additional stiffness at seventy-plus MPH. If the road is rough, you won't notice the better ride PDCC provides. Give it a try.
One challenge for you - try and figure out how to turn on the steering wheel heat without reading the manual . . . it's not obvious!! Took me awhile to figure that one out . . .
While I don’t have this feature in my car due to having an Alcantara wheel, I found the steering wheel heat button on accident while driving a loaner Macan. Slick ***** Porsche!

PDCC is always on, the two settings are just softer and stiffer.

I gave up on the magic wave thing, it doesn't work for me. I just use the key.
