C4S In hibernation at Emden since 27-Dec-2023. No ETA (USA West Coast).

A few non-responses from SA & PCNA; situation seems normal for Porsche based on the plight of other fellow sufferers.

Somewhat disconcerting the number of vehicles reportedly still in Emden that have not departed for US since Nov/Dec. Hopefully that backlog starts to clear up. My concern is cars rolling out of factory keep vessel slots and cars at the port are waiting for a slot (so to speak).

As noted above finished production 12/14/23, and sat at Kornwestheim until 3/20/24. Arrived Emden 3/22/24. PCNA indicated 4/5/24 exit Emden to Jacksonville, which does line up with Siem Conficius. Will be an interesting test in getting delayed cars moving (this hope has got me before!).

Indeed, on both counts!

The Blossom has departed Emden, and I received an update email from Porsche. TYD still hasn't updated yet though.

Why never go Porsche again? That's pretty harsh isn't it. The wait times for a new Porsche are much better than the wait times for a Ford F250 Platinum Tremor or a F150 Raptor R.
I waited a year for the Tremor and I am still waiting for the Raptor R, two years and counting. I'd still buy another Ford because I like their best trucks.

But this isn't a "wait time" issue - the cars are built, why can't they hire some extra ships and transport them?

It still boils down to a wait time issue doesn't it? It doesn't matter what is causing the wait, does it? I had a new F250 Platinum sit in Ford's Albuquerque yard 3 months waiting for a train transport so I don't really see much difference. Waits and shortages are a fact of life post Covid. At least it seems to be improving a little.

It's not like calling an Uber. There aren't a bunch of these ships just sitting around... I am sure Porsche wants the cars delivered and sold also, as they're sitting on many Deutschmarks of product without transaction/sale.

No kidding. The shipping business is booming right now and getting a spare ship that doesn't have a 6 month waiting period is tough because they are all booked up.

Are there any issues with cars sitting at the ports in the U.S.? Or is it a pretty quick turn around time for a semi to load them up?

My car arrives in Baltimore on Thursday….I am hoping to have the car by the end of April. It’s going to a dealership in WI…Is end of April a realistic expectation?

My GTS says it left the port on 3/13 but it still doesn’t have an update delivery date. It shows still at the port on the map and no ETA for arrival in east coast port

I would very much like to know this too as I have a PPF install scheduled.
