Default Two New Options Just Popped Up for the C4, C2S, C4S

Almost reaching my lock period for my C4 and as i was tinkering this weekend, i noticed two new options available:

Clear Tail Lights:

Sport Exhaust Tips:

They also added the "Sport Package" for the C4, but it looks like it isn't working properly when i add it (wants to double up on the Sports Exhaust).

Really wish i could do the Sports Exhaust with the new Sport Tips - love the quad pipe look.

What are the thoughts on clear tail lights for the 992? They look more smoked, so i think they'll look great with Night Blue...

They also added leather air vents with leather slats. I know this was voted “most stupidest option ever” recently on a previous thread, but I like the option. So there, I said it.

Don't do the clear lights. The red will look great with your blue paint. And the light bar is still red, right? So it looks more harmonious.

To me the clear lights looks like they forgot to install the taillights. But if you like it that’s all that matters. Also for some reason I can never forget those horrible clear ricer lights people used to put on everything from Escalades to Lexus a few years back.

That's why I'm on the fence. I've seen some pictures where the clear tail lights look horrible. Since they are more smoked-looking here, i'm intrigued.

There is a picture of the clear lights in another thread. All the taillights are clear including the 3rd brake light. The light bar still lights up red so it was hard to get a good idea because the light was on in the pic.

I kind of like the clear, especially with certain colors. Part of the taillights are already clear on the standard spec, so to me making the light bar clear blends in.

Damn it! Would have loved the quad pipes with the PSE, but my build locked a couple of weeks ago.

Hopefully a retro-fit will be an easy option...?!

The sport exhaust tips aren’t available with PSE, so you didn’t miss out. I wish they made them an option with the PSE because I prefer the quad pipes over the ovals. Doesn’t make sense why they don’t.

I think keeping red on the taillights helps to tie in the red brake calipers on the S models, particularly on darker colored cars.

I love the clear taillights, especially on a chalk or white car, just makes the car look more aggressive and cleaner, to me. Especially with the third brake light, makes it stand out a lot less with the black vent slats. Much better look than the tinted taillights in the 991.2. On a black car it might be too much, but on lighter colors, I love it.

I hope there are many people choosing it now so I'll have used options to look for a few years down the road.

I brought a pair from Suncoast a few weeks ago. They take no more than 5 minutes to install and I agree they do add a nice touch. Unfortunately, I’m still waiting for my C4S to be released from Davisville.
