Someone above on this thread bought a 20" square setup that looks awesome. I have been investigating a similar 19" setup.

If you have a 4S, I believe Porsche said that you can damage the transmission if you switch from the staggered setup to a squared one.

I've got a C2S. Not sure if having RAS will make a difference.

Not really a fan of any of the OEM wheel options, and can't find any staggered ones online with the exception of the OZs on Tire Rack, but they look too similar to the OEM wheels.

How are you investigating this? I saw your previous post mention you talked to the service department, but I imagine mine would also say anything to get me to buy parts from them. Have you been in contact with PCNA?

I chose to use my stock wheels for winter and purchased a new lighter weight set for my summer/track wheels. Michelin AP5s will fit the stock 20/21 configuration.

I'm done talking to Porsche. Well at least my local dealer. They are idiots.

A 19" setup will work. There is at least 2 companies that make Porsche specific wheel sets that would work. Surely more.

The REAL trick is finding matching tires that get you to the OEM rolling diameter needed. I can get it done with PA4s.

Been trying to buy a winter wheel setup so i can drive this a few more months in Chicago. Tirerack has been out of stock for a while, and i'm not interesting in a set for Porsche for $7k. At this rate I'm gonna just give up and throw the cover on it and call it a summer around thanksgiving. Anyone else have a line on winter setups from somewhere other than tirerack?

TR has been worthless for me. Its like Porsche is holding them back. I'm working with my local tire dealer on some options.

I got a full set of 19/20s winters - porsche OEM for $4.1K delivered. Check out getporscheparts or suncoast. I prefer to run more sidewall in winter, more comfort, potholes, etc. They also have 20/21s for 6K if you want the bigger wheels.

I consider myself lucky to have scored a set of N-rated Michelin PA5's from TireRack back in February. I had the dealership mount them on my 992 4S before I ever picked the car up. I left them on the stock wheels and got a set of O.Z. wheels with PS4S tires for the summer. I'm probably going to switch back to my winter wheels and tires myself today. The 10 day forecast for Anchorage says it won't be getting above 40°.

I just bought my winter wheels from TR. Thet are in stock but do not show up on the configurator for the 992. They have both Continnental and Michelin tires available. Don't try to buy online - call them on the phone. I received the wheel sets within a week. I believe I spoke to Carl, very helpful.

@Richard_Wallace Is there a discount code as Suncoast is coming up as $4295 plius 329 shipping plus tax to NJ for a grand total of $4931 and getporscheparts is the same except their shipping is free
