I think this is a great source of information (albeit perhaps not as fun as getting it from FB or friend's email! :-) )

personally i've always felt like this virus was man made and deployed to china to try and destroy their economy but the fact that whomever would have done that would have released a cure after it became a pandemic leads me back to he animal blood mixing theory

That line jumped out at me like it was written by a 20 year old doomer, not an Immunologist.

I agree with the sentiment of staying inside though. It's a pity people are so selfish. I see them around where I live, they think it's free vacation.

I hope everyone is doing well and is healthy, especially in hard hit areas. Based on the epidemic trajectory, even though this looks really bad right now, we are possibly at the peak in these areas. The epidemiology models that predicted were quite possibly wrong. It is quite a story of how this happened.

ICU beds and the medical system in the NYC area, New Orleans, and maybe Detroit will still be possibly stretched to the limit, but hopefully the peak will be sooner than we think. Let us hope.

Now time to drive my 992.

^It would be nice to hear more about how they're dealing with this virus in Germany. They have about 43,000 cases at the moment and only 267 deaths, which is remarkable.

From what I’ve heard it could be a combination of factors. A higher percentage of testing, an average lower age of population, a better health care system, fewer households with members from multiple generations, lower incidence of other contributing health factors such as history of smoking

Germany is much more strict than Italy attributing deaths to COVID-19, which account (in large part) for the much lower death count

Seems many inbound vehicles or orders have been orphaned, including the Spyders and GT4s.

Yep!

https://www.medpagetoday.com/infecti.../covid19/86893

“In one case, a 44-year-old white woman with a medical history of epilepsy took famotidine 80 mg three times daily for 11 days starting 4 days after first experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. She reported that after feeling very unwell at the outset, within 1 day of the first dose of famotidine, she noticed marked improvement in her shortness of breath. This improvement was matched by an increase in her home-monitored pulse oximetry-measured oxygen saturation levels, which rose from 91-95% to 97-98%. Before starting the drug, she was febrile with a temperature of 37.8°C, but was afebrile by day 7 of treatment.”
